CHIEF ARTIST / INDUSTRIAL SCULPTURE

Job Description
​
Statumanity is looking for an Industrial Lead Sculptor Artist F/H for its Production Studio to contribute to the development of multiple artistic projects in our interactive team in Montreal.
​
Job summary:
​
Directly supported by the Artistic Director, Engineers and integrated into the heart of the work of art installation team, you will be the one chosen to express your expertise as a sculptor, construction workers and your knowledge of the materials as well as the polishing in order to achieve the structure and the coating of artistic projects.
​
​
Qualifications
​
As such, your main missions will be to:
​
To support and guide the team of sculptor artists and builders according to the list to be respected of the results to be achieved
Ensure the correct measurements of the materials and the quality of these in order to correspond to the pre-established plans
Ensure a productive internal workflow and beneficial relationships with external partners
Analyze needs and changes to reconstitute
Perform the labor of artistic projects
Develop the schedule of the team of sculptor/builder artists
Organize the work of the team using project management / planning tools according to established guidelines
Ensure that the team meets its manpower objectives in terms of time and quality
Ensure that the work provided by the team conforms to the style and artistic direction of the project
Ensure communication within the team and point of contact with other teams
Perform other related duties

Profile: A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Modeler/Artist and 2 years of management.
​
You must have good communication, productivity, understanding and excellent team spirit
Excellent knowledge of construction materials and sculptures
Excellent workmanship with clay and other materials considering relief and textures.
Knowledge of engineering plans to ensure artistic missions are achieved.
Excellent coordination and project management skills
Be organized and find solutions to problems that may arise within the team.
As an artist, you have a passion for art.
Ability to communicate in English and French

SCIENTIST PHYSICIST ENGINEER

Statumanity is looking for a F/M Engineer Physics Scientist for its Production Studio to contribute to the development of multiple artistic projects in our interactive team in Montreal.
​
Job summary:
​
Directly supported by the Artistic Director and the project manager, you will be the chosen one to issue your expertise as a Scientific Physicist Sculptor in order to experiment with interactive technology and new inventions through all artistic projects.
​
​
Qualifications
​
As such, your main missions will be to:
​
Carry out experiments in order to materialize inventions and technological interactions according to the directives issued
Ensure the list of equipment necessary to obtain for any study to be carried out
Ensure a productive internal workflow and beneficial relationships with external partners
Analyze the needs and changes to be reconstituted for all projects
Perform process reviews
Ensure that the work provided by the team conforms to the style and artistic direction of the project
Ensure communication within the team and point of contact with other teams
Perform other related duties

Profile: A minimum of 4 years of experience as a SCIENTIFIC PHYSICIAN ENGINEER
​
You must have good communication, productivity, understanding and excellent team spirit
Excellent knowledge of the theory of particles, plasma, frequencies and waves.
Excellent workmanship and knowledge of the materials to be used in order to build the inventions
Excellent knowledge of astrophysics and electricity
Excellent coordination and project management skills
Be organized and find solutions to problems that may arise within the team.
You must be passionate about inventions, persevering and patient.
Ability to communicate in English and French
